Forget the ZCoins -- these things give 3500 EotN title points. Fantastic for powering up PvE skills on off-characters.

50 coins for Dragon's Gullet?
It's like when you get 100 for Augury Rock.
Dragon's Gullet? Don't you mean Griffon's Mouth? Because that was today's VQ. And 50 copper coins for 10-15 minutes work is pretty good. (Not as good as getting 100 for 30 seconds - that includes map travel - worth of work, but it's not too shabby regardless)

I like the new rewards. So far, A-Net seems to have gotten quite generous with these new rewards. Getting those extra 3,500 Norn points doing Ice Cliff Chasms was really nice. (borderline excessive)

It's a nice addition to people who already have to vanquish the area but not worth it at all if you don't need the area vanquished.

It's a nice way to provide pacing and a little incentive to start/keep on doing a daunting, and pretty tedious task.

I do wish shrines all work like in EoTN. While I don't plan on ever getting any of the vanquishing titles, trying to maintain a rampage/boss bounty/time attack makes clearing areas a lot more fun than fixed bonuses. Too bad I'm close to maxing out the EoTN rep titles from double weekends

I've already got Legendary Vanquisher/Guardian and LMoTN on my main but I'll still do the ZVs and ZMs because they're fun and whilst I don't need the Zoins, having them doesn't hurt and I like to collect them.

I know others will say that hammers and boxing is a better choice and faster but that's just not my style.
This.

I already got my Legendary Vanquisher title on my main, but additional Z quests give additional experience for my survivor. And 10k XP for a 30 min work on an avarage is not bad, imo.

As for Z coins, I don't really care about them. It is nice to have some, but I won't worry about the amount given for a certain quest.

We only take the ZVQ if we did not do it already. We have only proph. left so if there is a map we did not do already we take the q and get a little bit extra reward.

You know, i tought at first this would be a complaint about the extra coins devaluing the heavy equipment packs.

I tend to do the zquests that are fast and or easy.

Something really fast that gives 70 coins in hard mode I value above something that takes an hour and gives 150.

Vanquishing for z coins I am unlikely to attempt unless as has been said I have another reason to vanquish that area.

I like the ZVQ, I did Ice Cliff because I wanted the norn points tho. However it's harder to team with people. Which is the only reason I do Zaishen quests, bounties and so on, well almost anyways.

I enjoy the social aspect of it.

I've always loved vanquishing and this will only cause me to do it even more.

I mean, how am I supposed to resist vanquishing stuff like ice clifs when it gives a 3.5k norn pts bonus. (I'm hoping for similar with luxon/kurzick areas)

Agreed, the norn points was the main reason I did it this time aswell. Even if the social part attracts me more. But it was nice to do it for such an amount of points. Tho I wish it was more!

No complaints here, I love to VQ and this with the ZB and ZM can get you gold Zcoins very fast.

I like the ZVQ too, but it should be split in more quests(one for each continent) imo.
If now all the areas of the game are in a single flag the rotation is like.... 54(prop)+17(eye)+33(chanta)+34(elona)=138 days?

The idea of the zaishen stuff ( pve/pvp ) was a gd idea by anet but what i dislike is their rewards system.Even war bounties have the same problem where an easy boss gets a higher amount of reward than an boss who is say at bottom of kessex peak.
Also the pvp side is bad where you can actually pvp farm the zcombat and get a damn huge amount of coins more - a normal player usually has 8 slots and maybe 6 pve chrs and unless they are dedicated not all 6 will have access to whole of gw.
Now the pvp side can farm the quest as many times as they want but pve side has low rewards and non repeatable ... at least make the pve side repeatable.
And before any says im having a cry - i dont actually bother with the z stuff as i cba to fight thru a few zones to kill 1 boss for a pittance reward , i could go elsewhere and farm something better for more rewards.

This demonstrates an old philosophy, people will complain at anything!

e.g. Have a free sandwich -> Urgh, I don't like chicken!

Look, no one is forcing you to do them, if you can earn more stuff somewhere else faster go there ffs. As you can tell from the responses, normal human beings that take pleasure in things look at this as a nice bonus to what you already get for vanquishes!

I might pug these zaishen vanquishes with my monk. Getting money, socialising and getting legendary survivor in the process look nice.

I like it. I have most of Factions and most of Tyria left to vanquish and was planning on doing one vanquish a day until they are both finished (I know its going to take a while). Now instead of deciding where to vanquish, I can just do the Zaishen vanquish and get a little bonus for completing it.

Legendary Survivor with a PUG? Good luck. I've had great success with PUGs but if you get one like I got for Arachni last night, you're in for some hurt (we didn't even make it to the dungeon).
